I occasionally use my HB-1B for activations but have switched to the Pico paddle from the Palm paddle. I noticed what appears to be ferrites just before the cable enters the radio and was wondering why you either needed or wanted them. -Paul, AD4IE
It is the same 3.5mm jack lead that I use whether for between my paddle and rig, or between my Wolphilink datamode interface and rig. In the case of the latter, the chokes make a significant difference. I can’t be bothered removing them for non-datamode operating.
