I got one of the Linx machine too. I have yet to explore all the capability, but found it to be fairly agile and usable for the usual web surfing and email. The battery is a bit on the short side compared to my ipad 2 but nothing to complain and found the keyboard decking (through the pin interface) not that robust a couple of times. I am still getting used to the W10 software.
I played with Viewranger and it seemed up to the job for most of my needs so far.
My main machine at home is an ex-lease Thinkpad T430 fully loaded which runs all my radio software and other bits with ease.
