Hello Again SOTA,

I bagged another six point activation on Superstition Peak North, this one was a lot of fun. Lots of scrambling involved, and the majority of the trail was located in a tight canyon that kept the sun off. We were on the summit less than an hour and I was able to work 38 stations, two DX! France F4WBN and Spain EA5IPC. This was accomplished on a Yaesu 891 pushing 40 watts through a 20m dipole.

We had a lot of fun hearing familiar call signs and some new ones. Thanks to everybody who participated and also the stations I wasn’t able to hear, hopefully next time. We have a shorter summit coming up this evening, followed by a rest/drive day tomorrow before a bigger activation in New Mexico the following day. 73!

Glad you two are having such a fun trip! Great pix, keep em’ coming =)

Thanks for a new summit for me. I have somehow managed to miss that one the last several times it was activated. Hope to catch you on the next ones as well. I will be out activating on Sunday, so perhaps we can get an S2S.
