Hope folks don’t mind me dropping this in here. I just wanted to share some information on a special callsign I applied for from Comreg which was approved today.
I will have the call sign EI0WAAAW for the month of April 2026. This is to mark World Autism Awareness / Acceptance Week from April 1st to 7th (as well as other dates, events etc throughout the month).
I’ve received interest from some experienced groups in EI keen to help me put together a little mini event so hopefully I can get something arranged - if all else fails I will just fly solo and do my best with the gear I have to hand.
Just wanted to get the word out and I hope folks might take part (I believe other callsigns might be set up worldwide too for related events).
