Dear SOTA Friends!
On behalf of Summits On The Air Asociation in Poland and the community of SOTA activators, chasers and listeners in SP I’d like to invite you to join us during the yearly SOTA SP meeting, which traditionally takes place on the first weekend of October. This year we’ll meet in Radków, Poland, right in the middle of SP/SS region, in grid JO80EL, on Friday, October 2nd … and we’ll stay together until Sunday, October 4th. We’ll have 3 days of of great fellowship, radio operation from nearby summits, sharing not only delicious food and drink but also amazing, sometimes even true, SOTA stories.
Dates: October 2nd to 4th, 2026
Venue: Zielony Las leisure center, Radków, Poland
Event highlights:
- common dinners and social gatherings at the venue
- SOTA talks, including a presentation by Tomek SQ9FVE, sharing his experiences from activation of KLF/DE-001 earlier this year and LUM/PH-001 back in 2019
- SOTA activations of nearby Szczeliniec SP/SS-005, Wielka Sowa SP/SS-001, Kalenica SP/SS-003 as well as other nearby summits, including these in OK/KR region - just over the border with Czech Republic
- mini QSL bureau - exchange of paper QSL cards between participants
- hikes among beautiful rock formations in the vincinity: Szczeliniec Wielki, Błędne Skały or Adršpašské skály
Participation cost: 330 PLN, or 80 EUR, which covers
- 2 nights of acommodation in comfortable double or triple room
- excellent dinner on Friday and Saturday
- tasty breakfast on Saturday and Sunday
