Sotabeams SB270 Yagi

A very nice man gave me a Sotabeams SB270 Yagi. Well I just have the 2m bits, the plastic boom drilled for 3ele 2m Yagi and 6ele 70cm Yagi and the 3x 2m elements. There are no 70cm elements. Can someone who has one confirm the 70cm elements are also 3mm diameter and also use plastic M6x20mm bolts as antenna mounts.

I just need the diameter. I know the lengths. Thanks.

I’m away from home and don’t have measuring tools with me, but as far as I can tell from visual inspection the 2m and 70cm elements are identical apart from the length.

Thanks. I’ll get some 3mm rod ordered and get myself busy with the hacksaw.

Yes, the 70cm elements are the same physical construction as the 2m elements, just shorter.
