SOTAbeam traps weatherproofing

Hi,

wanted to add a 14mhz Sotabeams trap to my 20m EFHW and extend it for 30m for a little more versatility. Just wondering what folk are doing to weatherproof or encapsulate the traps?

Hi Declan,

I weatherproofed the traps of my homemade endfed by using Liquid Tape (I think I got it from the address of your trap).
There is no lower Q of the resonant circuits because of the Liquid Tape enclosure - at least I could not measure any quality loss.

thanks for info. I have the liquid tape, but I was not sure it might create a problem with the trap just painting it on.
