S50TD and I are planning to visit Ireland (EI) next week and hope to pull off some SOTA activations. Regarding to weather (and wives) permissions, we will be operating around the Wicklow area: SOTLAS
We are looking for suggestions for straightforward activations, or any specific tips/routes on how to approach the following summits:
- EI/IE-018 Two Rock Mountain
- EI/IE-022 Great Sugar Loaf + EI/IE-052 Little Sugar Loaf
- EI/IE-005 Kippure + EI/IE-007 Djouce
- EI/IE-003 Tonelagee + EI/IE-012 Scarr
- EI/IE-014 Sorrel Hill + EI/IE-002 Mullaghcleevaun
We will be renting a Kia Sportage (4x2 or AWD, not sure yet). Any info regarding safe parking spots, trail conditions, or access restrictions would be highly appreciated!
