SOTA on VK3/VS-048 Mt Rouse in Western Victoria (4 hrs west of Melbourne)

Heres a video of a recent activation at a Western Victorian 1-pointer, Mt Rouse. Good conditions at around 0700 UTC or 6PM.local time around south east VK, ZL on 40m, and Eu on 20m CW with 5 watts to a 10m wire. These conditions are typical at this time, barring solar interruptions!

Great activation video Paul, 40m and 20m were performing well. Late afternoon activations are the best.

Hi Paul, vy nice to see this and hear my signals there in VK3, here I was running barefoot at the time abt 90 watts into 9 element Optibeam at 23 mtrs. In the video you typed PA3KM but copied my call correct anyway :slight_smile: Hope to catch you agn, tnx fer fb activation.
