Remember to clear the 20m tape out of the way when cutting coax for a 1/2w multiple……

Bin it and steal another from the same shop whence it came.

Buy a new tape.
Keep the old one and make a 2m tape measure yagi. Not much use on a mountain top, but good fun to make and has other uses.

I do want to try this, but unfortunately this is a fabric mesh tape. An old surveying tape of mine before disto’s were invented!

Hä? Meter scale? But maybe the right scale is on the other side and in the picture only the wrong side is shown?

Don’t throw it away
Buy an iron on fabric repair patch. If it doesn’t adhere well, use a flexible glue as per shoe repair adhesive. Silastic is a good flexible adhesive too.
