SOTA Database Tags

HI everyone,

I’ve noticed that SOTA summits can be tagged in the database, for example Foel Cedig is marked as a moderate walk and accessible by 4x4 and bicycle). Is there a way to search or filter summits, by tag? For example, if I wanted to only look for cycle friendly summits in the mainland UK?

Forgive me if there is an obvious way to do this that I’ve overlooked, but I’d appreciate some guidance as I’d like to plan a set of summits for later this year year that are potentially accessible by public transport or cycling.

Filter metadata for summits

There is already! Thanks for clarifying that Andrew, I look forward to filter/search feature being added. In the meantime, would it be possible to update the CSV file available from the SOTA database with the tags, and I can get Excel to do the hard work?

Alternatively, I’ll have to do it the hard way and go through each summit in turn!

The problem with changing the CSV file format in any way is that there are many programs that use the data and are hard coded to the CSV format. The result is changing the CSV breaks lots of software and some of that software is still used and useful but is no longer maintain / updated.
