Look forward to meeting you all again!

Many thanks to Sylvia, OE5YYN and everyone else who once again organized a very exciting conference, and of course to the speakers as well. What particularly impressed me was Jaan’s (SM0OEK) presentation. If, like me (DM/BW), you live in a region where the minimum point total for summits is already 4 and there are over 35 summits for which you receive 10 points upon activation—many of which are really very easy to activate— then I’m all the more impressed that Jaan goes on hikes lasting hours for just one or two points—and sometimes even brings along a tent because the summit can’t be reached in a single day.

That’s great, Jaan, because it shows a lot of enthusiasm, and SOTA is about so much more than just racking up points and checking off 3 or 4 “drive-in” summits in a single day

Much like Scotland then.

It’s good to hear everything went well in the conferences. Many thanks to Sylvia for organising the event.

Marked to watch later. :+1:

I asked in the Ham2k forum a while back but no joy. Hoping they release the PoLo Offline Logger at some stage. A fun novelty.

Not sure what you mean by Offline Logger? It works fully offline after installation. No internet connection needed. For retrospective log entry I would suggest FLE directly in sotadata.

They made a little custom notebook wirh the PoLo logo on it and called it a Portable Offline Logger. Just a novelty item but I think it was only sent out to a couple of people.

I just enjoyed the novelty behind it and hoped the team might produce a short run of them.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the video of your presentation, very appreciated because it was not possible for me to come to FH. I think I have to consider to switch to e-logging and keep the plan P just in case.
