bereits zum vierten Mal wird es 2026 eine SOTA-Messestand auf der HamRadio in Friedrichshafen geben. Das gut eingespielte Team übernimmt - dieses Jahr unter der Leitung von DM/BW - die Organisation. Wir hoffen auf eine rege Beteiligung bei Besuch und Standbesetzung wie in den vergangenen Jahren.

Um den Stand zu finanzieren, sind wir wieder auf Spenden angewiesen. Dafür bitte ich um eure Unterstützung. Wir haben ein PayPal Konto eingerichtet. Bitte gebt euren Namen und euer Rufzeichen an, damit wir eine Liste der Spender erstellen können.

Dear SOTA friends,

For the fourth time, there will be a SOTA booth at Ham Radio in Friedrichshafen in 2026. The well-established team will once again take care of the organization - this year, under the leadership of DM/BW. As always, we’re hoping for strong participation - both in visits and in helping staff the booth - just like in previous years.

To cover the costs of the booth, we once again rely on donations, and I’d like to ask for your support. We’ve set up a PayPal account for this purpose. Please remember to include your name and callsign so we can put together a list of donors.

Many thanks for the registrations for stand staffing so far. We are currently still looking for 1-2 people to staff the stand on Sunday, 28 June from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The other times are currently covered by at least 2 people, which should be sufficient.

It’s time for another quick update on the SOTA booth. In eight weeks, the Ham Radio will already be in full swing!

Thanks to your continued support, the donation total has been steadily increasing, which is greatly appreciated:

Behind the scenes, the team is already busy working on various aspects of the preparation, and things are moving along nicely.

We’ve also received confirmation from the event organizers that we’ll once again be located at booth A1-190, just like in previous years.

with Ham Radio now just a few weeks away, it’s time for one final update before we all meet in Friedrichshafen.

First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the SOTA booth this year. The response from the community has been nothing short of amazing, and the donation total has now reached:

Your generosity and enthusiasm continue to impress us. The SOTA community is truly something special, and your support helps make it possible for us to present SOTA to lots of visitors at Europe’s largest amateur radio exhibition.

Preparations are now in full swing behind the scenes, and we are looking forward to welcoming visitors once again at booth A1-190.

If you would like to help with staffing the booth, there is still time to sign up. We have a few gaps - especially on Sunday - remaining in the schedule, and any support would be greatly appreciated.

And one more date for your diary: The drawing of our raffle will take place on Saturday, June 27th, at 16:30, following the SOTA Conference. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have some excellent prizes waiting for the lucky winners.

If you are one of the lucky winners, we would greatly appreciate if you could collect your prize at the booth, or have it collected on your behalf. Last year, packing and shipping the prizes required a significant amount of time and expense.

If needed, we can arrange shipping within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DL/OE/HB). We kindly ask for your understanding that shipping to other countries is unfortunately not possible due to the costs involved.

We’re looking forward to seeing many familiar faces, meeting new friends, and enjoying three fantastic days of amateur radio, SOTA, and great conversations.
