Liebe SOTA Freunde!

Dieses Jahr übernimmt Österreich die Organisation des SOTA Standes auf der HamRadio in Friedrichshafen und die Betreuung gemeinsam mit HB9 und DL.
Wir hoffen auf die gleiche rege Beteiligung bei Besuch und Standbesetzung wie letztes Jahr!

Wie auch schon letztes Jahr sind wir auf Spenden angewiesen, um den Stand zu finanzieren, so dass ich ein eigenes PayPal Konto eingerichtet habe und um Unterstützung bitte. Bitte gebt dabei euren Namen und Rufzeichen an, damit wir wieder eine Liste der eifrigen Spender erstellen können.

Sollte jemand eine Alternative zu PayPal bevorzugen, dann gibt es auch noch die Möglichkeit, direkt auf mein Konto zu überweisen. Dazu bitte ich um direkte Kontaktaufnahme.

Weiters bitten wir um Unterstützung bei der Standbetreuung. Der Kalender vom letzten Jahr hat sich bewährt, so dass ich hier wieder einen Link zum Eintragen einfüge:

Weiters suchen wir noch Helfer für Auf- und Abbau des Standes am Donnerstag Nachmittag und am Sonntag Abend.

Dear SOTA friends,

This year the OE SOTA Association is taking responsibility for organising the SOTA booth at the HamRadio in Friedrichshafen and for manning (or womaning :upside_down_face:) the booth together with DL and HB9!
We hope for a lot of visitors and support in tending to the booth!

Just like last year, we are also dependent on financial support to finance the booth and the promotional gifts, which means that I have opened a separate PayPal account and asking for donations. Please enter your name and callsign so that we can again publish a list of donors.

As an alternative I can also offer money transfer to my account but would ask you to contact me directly for that purpose.

Furthermore, we would need your support in staffing the booth.
I am using the same calendar as last year and am asking you to use the following link to enter your suggestions for helping at the booth.

Once again we are going to run a raffle and would be happy to receive prizes! So if anyone can think of/can organize prizes please get in touch!

As discussed I will be your deputy/support representing SOTA OE together with the other active members of the SOTA team.

FYI: SOTA Dinner is already planned

And I will again donate small red pencils :pencil2: as give-aways for visitors to the booth.

Für den Aufbau am Donnerstag ist im fragab Terminplaner leider nichts zum Auswählen. Ich könnte am Donnerstag Nachmittag zum Aufbau kommen. @OE5YYN kannst Du im fragab noch einen Aufbau-Termin am Donnerstag hinzufügen?

Freue mich schon auf viele nette Kontakte.

Hi Joe, I have a large bag of shower caps doing nothing in my attic. Is that be something you think would go nicely with a pencil as a gift? If so, I’ll post them to you.

Hi!
Geld ist unterwegs, wegen Helfen am Stand da kann ich nur ad hoc wo einspringen so nötig. Ich weiß noch nicht was ich am ÖVSV Stand zu schaffen habe. Ich werd’ auf jeden Fall auf der HR sein…

Hi Sylvia, @OE5YYN

I can not help much at the SOTA booth, since I will be at the Ham Radio only on Saturday, and my program will already be full : visiting the fair and the flea market, meeting with some friends from other (CW) clubs, and attend the SOTA meeting.
I will be at the SOTA stand at noon (or any time that will be agreed upon, was it at 11:00 local time last year ?)

But since last year (@HB9EKO) I won a very nice green Palm Pico paddle, I will do something in return : I will donate 4 “Clothespeg Paddles” for the raffle, built by the one and only … ON7DQ ! :wink:
