SOTA and outdoor radio was again represented with an exhibition booth during the Amateur Radio Convention at Hochschule München on March 11/12.
The booth should be a contact point for interested people, beginners and advanced mountain radio operators and we wanted to exchange information and report about our experiences.
Even from a distance, a mountaineering tent and several portable antennas caught the eye. On the tables, various portable radios, antennas and accessories were on display. Even the experienced mountain radio operator was amazed at clever details and received suggestions for improvements to his own equipment.
Almost the entire time our booth was closely surrounded by well-known mountain radio operators and interested parties. People were happy to see each other again and many interesting conversations and discussions developed.
