Hello trend setters I just noticed there is a phone app called SOTA activator on the Spots page as a method of Spotting. Has this app been around long as I only noticed it today and is it any good. cheers

Sorry Joe to jam up the reflector with questions already covered.
With the new way SW3 is configured I don’t get to watch the reflector page as much these days and missed all the good news about the new App. Sorry about that. My SOTA spotter App does not work on my new phone any more so in my off season for Activating just noticed this app. Could be a good time to learn how it works for New Years vk SOTA party.

Its a good app IMHO, I use it for all mobile chasing and the screen is clear to get the info with a glance.

Thanks Tony I will give it a run soon at New Years Morning. My reaspn for asking was Last night I was chasing EU SOTA ops on higher bands and saw in comments on the SW3 page the method used for Spotting. I don’t remember seeing that App before.
