SOTA activators and activations carried out in Spain and the Spanish-American Countries in August-2019:
With the information available in the database, this is the graph of the activations and activators in Spain in August 2019.
EA1 leads this month in number of activations, followed by EA2, EA5, EA6, EA4, EA3=EA7 and EA8=EA9. We see activations from all EA call areas for the first time in history.
We’ve got a very good number of activations this last month, being this the highest monthly number in the current year. It’s summer and vacation time for many, so we’ve got activators from various countries of the World activating on different zones of the EA territory. They came from CT, OK, VK, K, G, SP and DL. Welcome and thank you ALL!

Here’s the graph for the chasers and number of chases in Spain:
Some months ago I already ran out of adjectives to describe the chasing results obtained by Manuel EA2DT. They are just indescriptible. Outstanding results by Jorge EA2LU and Pedro EA2CKX with over 400 chases each, as well as those by Ricardo EA1DHB and José EA7YT with over 200. We also see new and prolific chasers with important number of chases registered in the database.

The 3973 chases this month represent another historic record. Well done all the chasers!

With the information available in the database, this is the graph of the activations and activators in the Spanish speaking American Countries with existing SOTA associations in August 2019.
We see this month 1 activation in LUM Mendoza-Argentina, 1 in TI Costa Rica, and 2 activations in XE1 Mexico. We hope to see many more activators very soon.

We keep seeing activations on every month. Well done. Come on, keep going!
Regarding the chasing activity, we see some SOTA chases on the database in this month of August: 1 in LUM and 4 in XE1. It’s a small improvement and we hope other chasers will register and start uploading their SOTA chases to the database very soon.
