Well, an interesting couple of days. First, my apologies for the wrong summit reference on 16th August. I was on Seana Bhraigh GM/NS-019. Only the second ever activation so important to get the correct reference. Thanks to M0NOM for spotting the correct summit.
Yesterday, on 17th my activation of GM/ NS-014 was curtailed when my roach pole broke in the strong winds. Apologies again. I managed to jury rig the inverted V dipole today on GM/ NS-138 in consolation.
When I climbed Seana Bhraigh 25 years ago, I asked the gamekeeper if I could drive my old series 3 Land Rover up the track to the foot of the mountain. Surprisingly he agreed. It was rough as hell but saved loads of time!
