Saturday 31 October 2026 – Scottish Microwave Round Table (GMRT 2026)

ON-LINE BOOKING IS NOW OPEN

The Fourteenth Scottish Microwave Round Table GMRT-2026 will go ahead between 10.30 and 17.00 on Saturday 31 October 2026 at the Museum of Communication, Burntisland, Fife. An interesting programme of speakers has been arranged, microwave test facilities will be provided and there will be an opportunity to buy components and microwave-related items. An optional Dinner will be held in the evening at the Kingswood Hotel Burntisland .

Andy, is there a chance you’re going to talk in the future about your microwave SOTA activities to one of the clubs doing videos? Like Norfolk ARC?

Carlo, I have to ask why the GMRT talks are not being recorded? I have already started finding out if this has been considered in the past.

My club did a long period of recording and also simultaneously broadcasting talks at my club around the COVID lockdowns, when many people were not too keen on spending time in closed in spaces with lots of people. So we do have access to some nice cameras and microphones and have some members with experience of doing this.

I shall see what the other organisers think about recording the talks.
