I’m surprised there are still Dinosaurs running two stroke powered whipper snippers. In VK battery powered garden tools are dominating the market.

In a professional setting, petrol brushcutters are certainly still common:
They are more powerful, often lighter (especially when you factor in the battery backpack), and run for longer…
… still.
And the forestry offices still have them
