As some of you might know we have a National Parks event organized by the ARRL to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the US National Park Service. I took the opportunity to activate a SOTA peak (W6/CD-016) in Joshua Tree NP last Friday and in essence did a “double activation”. If interested in a few snaps and details read on at

Thanks for the report! I was hoping to activate Ryan on NY day but was under the weather. Glad you had success. Any pics of the oak? Also I took Geology Rd once through Berdoo Canyon which was boulder strewn and kind of epic. Once was enough heh.
