The summit ist situated in the mountain “Rhön” and I drove by car to town “Motten”. There is a parking place named “Wasserscheide”. From this place are 2,3km by Mountainbike to the summit.
WX was excelent. At the highest point is a lookout tower.There is enough space to build an antenna.
I used on this mountain a Norcal doublet antenna and TRX was KX 1 abt 4 watts. As a result I reached 20 QSO’s on 40 and 30 mtrs.
The top is in a historically interesting place. Here is the boundary between different terretories and there are many old boundary stones here. Today it is the border between Bavaria and Hesse.
