Just arrived back from Highland Perthshire. I set out to activate GM/SS-022 Creag Uchdag (879m, 2883ft), hoping to do that at around 10.30 BST this morning. Having got up on to the 2500ft contour the weather deteriorated, cloud base went down to 2300ft, and as the snowfall became heavier I took the decision to come down off the mountain before conditions worsened any further. Thanks to all those who waited for a contact on 7mhz cw, or 2m fm. So GM/SS-022 is still to be activated - but there’s always another day…
