Might use Rattlegram for activating, as I use it for other things anyway. With a wired / BT setup (rather than acoustic coupling) a nice stealth activation option IMHO.

What’s the proper protocol from SOTA perspective / data PoV? Never seen it used in anger in SOTA regardless of some mentions.

Probably you’d need to put “rattlegram app” in the spot with whatever frequency you’re using.

I suspect you might need to coordinate chasers ahead of time, unless you know it’s a popular digital mode and people are ready to listen.
