Regulations on the activity days dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the regional association R9Urals mountain amateur radio program SOTA
Activity days are held to attract the attention of radio amateurs around the world to the anniversary event celebrated in 2025 - the 10th anniversary of the formation of the regional association R9Urals mountain amateur radio program SOTA and the beginning of amateur radio activations of the Ural mountain peaks.
As part of the activity days, the work of radio amateurs-activators of the Ural mountain peaks will be carried out using their own call signs and the call sign of temporary use R10SOTA - when working from the Ural peaks, with the subsequent issuance of an anniversary diploma with the appropriate thematic design to radio amateurs-activators of mountain peaks and the most active radio amateur hunters around the world.
The period of the activity days is from July 5 to September 4, 2025.
To receive the anniversary diploma, amateur radio hunters must conduct radio communications with amateur radio activators of at least two Ural peaks during 2025, or one peak when the amateur radio activator works with the special call sign R10SOTA during the activity days. To receive the diploma, amateur radio activators must conduct at least two activations of the Ural peaks during 2025, or one peak during the activity days.
To fulfill the conditions of the diploma, only communications with amateur radio activators of the Ural mountain peaks included in the list of the regional association R9Urals of the SOTA program are taken into account.
Observers can receive diplomas under the same conditions as for amateur radio hunters.
The diploma is free and is issued electronically.
Logs of amateur radio activators and hunters are uploaded to the SOTA program database on the website at: Sotadata3.
