I know the default is that the Quansheng K5 with upgraded firmware can receive SSB but only transmit AM reduced carrier (aka DSB), but Google search is now (Jan 1 2026) saying that there are new experimental firmware releases that get closer to SSB on transmit (it can never be perfect due to the hardware). Has anyone on this list found the link to the improved SSB TX firmware and tried it?
