Ask him ! 73 to PY2VN Carlos
This radio isn’t really new, as it’s been available for almost two years now.
Are there any experiences from users of this radio in the SOTA community?
I have it, but used once only, a bit bulky for me, I still prefer the SW3B, quite smaller and easier to carry as backup rig on long trips (IMO only)

à bientôt peut-être sur l’air
Thanks Eric for your kind words regarding my post about the SW-6B radio (referring to the test report by Thomas, K4SWL).
The fact that the ARRL test report of the SW-6B, published in the July 2026 issue of QST, is new is undisputed and has not been questioned by me.
BTW, The articles in QST are copyrighted by the ARRL and may only be copied (also in part) with ARRL permission.
Conclusion: In my opinion, there’s no reason to be discouraged from continuing to post news on the SOTA Reflector. So, keep enjoying the factual discussions on this channel!
