Pocket Prefix Plus (Android App)

Just got a new phone and noticed that Pocket Prefix Plus (PPP) did not transfer over from the old phone. Found out that Google Play no longer supports PPP, although it appears to be available separately from other software vendors.

In the past I have used PPP to determine the country associated with a call quickly, where I didn’t know the country.

I wondered if anyone else:-

  • Has/is using PPP;
  • Has had any issues if they downloaded it recently from the various software vendors;
  • Is using a similar app. and if so, what.

It isn’t the same but polo from ham2k will guess the country as you type in a call. Or QRZ lookup if you configure for full details. It works on my old android and new android phones. Even if you don’t log with it, it would achieve the goal and is free.

On the play store it’s called “Ham and More” David.
