Please listen to the activating station op of the summit being activated, its no good continually calling the over the operator while he/she is already working a station, all you are doing is preventing the station being worked from receiving his/her RST which means asking for it again so everyone has to wait longer to contact the “SOTA” op.

Hi, Rich. You could let the MT know who the offending station was. If its one of the stations that we get frequent complaints about, a suitable kick up the…I mean, admonishment can be administered. And yes, there are some frequent offenders who the MT have under observation!
Hello, I know that we are plagued by some ops who don’t like the idea of any organisation using any frequency if it causes pileups. Its other chasers who even though the station they are trying to work is in the middle of exchanging RST they continue to call, if they can’t hear the activator what is the point?
Perhaps this is also the curse of WebSDR…
Some chasers can’t hear the activators (because they are in the dead zone, have QRM, or for other reasons)—so they use WebSDR and hear the activator loud and clear.
Then they assume that, given their power output, they *must* be audible to the activator, and they roar like lions.
Yet, depending on the situation, they still don’t get heard… and just end up disturbing everyone else. And when you add the time lag caused by the web into the mix, it becomes a real hassle!
Sometimes you just have to accept that it’s not your day!
