Operating /mm Heysham to Douglas (IoM)

On the way to the Isle of Man, I took the opportunity to see if I could work /mm.
I spoke to the lady on the gift counter and explaining what I wanted to do and that I need to see permission first. She rang up the bridge and I spoke to the captain and after he asked me what frequencies I was using he was happy. I said thanks to both and proceeded to operate /mm from the top deck. I made two contacts.

Just as a interest feature what QRGs did you use for the contacts? Tks.

I think QRGs are frequencies. I used 145.475 & 145.525mhz @ 5w

It was a bit windy on the top deck. An email log was kept with time/date/who/freq.
