There was a G1 class storm on 21 March, this might have been the problem.

That is so frustrating Frank. When it has happened to me I’ve gone hunting for contacts from wherever I could get them. In my book there is too much time and expense put into an activation for it to fail. It would need to be a major battery or rig issue to be a complete failure. I once qualified a summit with a 1 watt handheld 2m FM rig where a battery did indeed die completely. Where needs must!
It was good to work you when you were on Hochberg DM/BM-268.

, the bands were dead @ 0730z no activity on my screen even no noise absolute Abyss… fews hours later it was better for coms
