I planned and attempted two summit activations this last weekend, but all was a bust, waist high snow after progressing up the trails 1-2 miles in, then rain and lightning. We have a late winter/spring weather pattern, normally way better conditions this time of year.
Hopefully May is more stable, I am ready for real spring to arrive!

We’ve been light on snow all winter in the southern part of the state, but alas with only a few summits, most on private land. It’s been a cold spring for sure. Good luck on your return activation(s)!
