Just a reminder that the Northeast SOTA Spring Campout will be held this weekend, May 15-17. We will be based at the North-South Lake Campground near Haines Falls, NY, on the eastern edge of the Catskill Mountains. We expect as many as 17 activators on various W2/GC-xxx peaks over a three or four day period, weather permitting.

Beautiful sunny Saturday in New York’s Catskill Mountains for the first half of W2 Spring Campout.
HF band conditions were miserable, luckily local activity on 2 Meters FM/SSB was jumping with “summit to summit” echoes throughout the day. Thanks to all the chasers !!
Some of the participants gathered at a local brewery Saturday night for food, drink and sharing stories about SOTA.
