Once again there will be a SOTA stand at the Blackpool Rally which this year is on April 13th. Well there should be but it depends on manpower.
Right now (Feb 25th) we’re a bit short of volunteers to man the stand. Sadly John G3WGV cannot be with us this year and so there is a critical shortage. If you can spare an hour or two during the day please contact me via PM. If we don’t get some advance volunteers then it may not be possible to run the stand.
Assuming we have sufficient volunteers then there will be some SOTA gear for sale (hats, badges, flags etc. etc.) I am just about to check the stock I have here and order some more from Barry. But now is you chance to save some money, you can order any non-custom items and save on the postage by having them marked collection at the rally. If you wish to advantage of this, then please PM me first before ordering from the shop.
I will have a number of 2300mAh LiFePO cells for sale. Shipping Lithium based batteries is frighteningly expensive so this is a way to bypass the charges which normally double the costs of buying batteries. Again PM me for info.
Most important is to get some volunteers to man the stand or it wont be happening.
