I park at the blue mark. Was there the other week, enough space leaving the track clear. Will listen out for you.

I parked at the red mark.
It was the middle of summer when I went so it wasn’t wet or boggy, might be a different story at this time of year.
Like Roger, I also parked at the blue spot nearly a year ago in the snow.
Thing I remember was that walking back to the car in the dark and in the snow was a challenge.
I also made contact with both Roger and Pete that late afternoon/early evening.

Which ever spot you pick John be careful when coming out of your parking spot on to the main road as cars travel at quite a speed and there isn’t much visibility! Will listen for you.

I will be interested to know how boggy the walk up to the summit is.
I was going to do this yesterday (Thursday) until I saw the forecast earlier in the week and expected it to a bit boggy up there.

Some parts ok, others, I think I could of done with a decent pair of wellies.
Doable but expect wet feet.
