Is this the same Mt Stromlo that was in the horrible Canberra fires 15 years ago??

The observatory facilities were destroyed in the 2003 Canberra fire storm.
4 people died and 470 homes were destroyed on the western fringe of the ACT.

The ‘Canberra Fires’ were also the first time a fire tornado was ever filmed and recorded, the second time was recently during the Californian fires. The effect of cooler air rushing in to replace the super heated air mixed with smoke rising.
