Mount Kongo is located in the southern part of Osaka and is visited by one million climbers every year. It’s not as famous as Mt.Fuji, but it’s popular because of its abundance of alpine plants and many climbing routes.
Of course, it is a mountain of SOTA registration (SOTA#JA/NR-029).Many radio operators gather because the view is good and it is easy to climb.
A live camera is installed at the top of the mountain and you can know the weather.

The state of the summit is live-streamed 24 hours a day. A still image is taken every 30 minutes and you can see it on the web. That’s why climbers are having a lot of fun taking various poses in front of the camera to commemorate it.
