Very well done indeed Esther! It is always a pleasure to get you (both) in my log and you have always been happy to provide some local advice when I wanted to know about access or parking! I look forward to many more contacts with you both over the years.

Fantastic news Esther. Well done and welcome to the herd.

Thanks also for the prompt QSO yesterday, you saved us from exposure to the fierce winds.

What a milestone, Esther - great to read the news! I had seen your spots and had heard you weakly, but I couldn’t bring my call to your ears. So I choose this way. The many messages here show the importance of the milestone.

Enjoy both the success, and don’t forget to continue!

Many many congratulations Esther, I was delighted when Rod told me just now. Very sorry that I hadn’t been checking to see how you were doing - but I do know it has been a long hard slog (does the Wrekin come to mind??) but as Ian points out nothing was going to stop you- not even barriers that seemed to deliberately positioned so that your super-buggy wouldn’t get through and you had t walk up the whole of Callow hill to Founder’s Folly (G/WB-15.) A great shame that we haven’t even talked for a long time (we haven’t been within 2m fm range - let alone 70cm!! ) I have great memories of our many contacts some years ago when you were hoovering up the G/WB (and other) local summits. Also sorry we haven’t been able to meet up for a long time - but I am still hoping. Keep up the good work and many tx to Ian for the great write-up and photos. Onwards and upwards!

WELL DONE Esther!! A real triumph of persistence.

Had I realised that today was the big day I would have tried to stay warm enough to hang on until you went over to 40m in the hope of making the s2s.

What challenge will it be next?

Congratulations Esther. Looks like you make a habit of achieving significant things though, so I guess it was never in doubt!

Well done, and thank you for your continuing enthusiastic support of the SOTA programme.
