It is a while since we had a most wanted list so here is mine…
After five years of chasing SOTA I still have one English and eight Welsh summits to bag. Thanks to John GW4BVE and Carolyn G6WRW for enabling me to strike off another MW on the 24th of this month.
I tried SW-028 in June, I only had 2 metres and it seems to be a VHF dead spot, I got just two contacts. I shall try it again next time I’m on the Gower with the climbers, but on 80/60/40 instead of VHF!

PS I keep missing out on NW-029, Maesglase, it’s getting a bit annoying!
Nah, 14 QSOs in 20 mins on 2m SSB plus one on 70cms SSB. You’re just
not trying hard enough Brian!
I suppose you could say so: my 857 was awaiting repair and I had a borrowed FT290R1 and a dipole, other than a couple of locals the band was as quiet as the grave!
Hmmm, Paul and I were only up there for 4 hours…
It seems that every time I have to go shopping or family visiting somebody goes up that dam’ mountain - but I’m patient, I’ll snag it yet! And sooner or later the climbing club will have a meet in Cwm Cowarch so I know what I’ll be doing whilst they battle greasy rock and vegetation…
You could call CQ with that kit all day around here in this metropolis and not get a reply, so all I can say Brian is that I’m surprised you managed even two QSOs. Well done indeed.

Won’t that be an Activation, not a Chase? … or are you intending taking a pal and bagging it across the AZ perimeter?
Pity that you missed Paul and myself when we did Maesglase, but I’m sure someone will activate it again soon. Maybe you could pre-book your QSO via email if you see an alert for it.
