Last Thursday I did a splendid activation at 3,062 meters above sea level on Monte Fallere I/VA-072 in the Aosta Valley. A very long trek (almost 16 km and 1,300 meters of elevation gain), but a beautiful mountain with views of Mont Blanc and all the peaks in this part of the Alps. 23 QSOs in total, using the 30-meter CW and also the 2-meter FM. A splendid day in the mountains, definitely worth repeating. Here are some photos, one of my best Sota activation ever
