I really hope he was not alone and there will be a lot of photos and a good trip report about his experience. I am interested about his gear and what difficulties he had at such altitude. I heard rumors that most electronic device only works up to 10 000ft or so. This particularly was about iPods with hard disk inside.

Marko is in this expedition used the following equipment:
FT-817ND with tuner Z-100, LiPo 2200 MHa and homemade vertikal antena.
For APRS: Kenwood TH-D72E
All HAM equipment was heavy around 3 kg.

Your achievement of the 1st Mont Blanc SOTA activation deserves the highest respect and certainly represents a milestone in the history of SOTA.
The ability to track your tour by ARPS is exemplary; just great !!
The only downside is that I couldn’t work you because of QRL
