An intriguing switch to your fibreglass pole and Slim Jim. Did you manage to resolve the strange SWR issues with your Carbon 6 mast and flowerpot set up ? :thinking:

Thanks for the comments.

I originally fixed SWR the problem for 2 FM by spacing the hanging point 100mm from the carbon pole. But I have noticed it has reappeared for SSB. The SWR can be 1.2 and then rises to 2.5 on voice peaks, so seems to be power related.
Oddly it’s still fine on 2m FM. I would never have noticed if I wasn’t using the IC705 on the meter screen showing SWR.

I could just about hear you on ssb, but not clear enough for a valid qso. Oh well, better luck next time!
