The VK-EU S2S event last weekend was a lot of fun and so I decided to activate OE/OO-084 again on Thursday, 17th starting right after sunrise at about 05:45UTC.
Using the special callsign OE20SOTA/p again and hope to attract a lot of DX chasers. If you hear/work me please also spot me on the DX cluster. I will be QRV in SSB only and primarily on 14MHz. But I will also check if there is propagation on other bands.
My setup will be a KX2 with 10w using a vertical j-pole antenna.
Condx were not very good today but I heard @VK3SQ calling in several times. It seems my signal was too weak on his end for a valid qso. But I heard him 5/3 in peaks …
At 06:47 @ZL4NVW called in with a solid 5/5 signal and we completed a nice QSO … thanks for the call from New Zealand.

As the weather is really fine for this part of year I just decided that I will go for another sunrise activation tomorrow on OE/OO-084. First watching the sunrise at 05:55 UTC and hope to get some DX in the log afterwards … please spot me in the DX cluster if you see my spot or hear me.
