This past Sunday (May, 25th), I took off early in the AM towards Bentozelos, CT/TM-025, one of my favourite locations for a spring activation, hoping to film the usually colourful landscape of blooming gorse, heather and broom plants. It´s a 50/50 walk, in the effort department, with the first 2,5 km an easy walk on a wide dirt road and the remaining a hearty climb, under the sun.
Radio wise, the propagations conditions weren’t that good, with some QRM plaguing most HF bands, but good enough for a little over 30 contacts.
This is the first of what I hope to be a series of videos of some of my activations, production values will hopefully improve as I get more experience with this new field.
