Howdy,
i could not find an answer using a search, but should i visit a neighboring region: do i enter my log differently in the database? (example: VA2YZX/W1) Or do i upload using my regular callsign?
Many thanks,
Sly

You enter whatever callsign you used on the air…presumably VA2YZW/W1 if you were south of the border.

Too easy then, i guess the points will still tally under my original c/s ?
many thanks !

You are logging your activations and chases to your account. (The account name can be your callsign - but btw it could be any other chosen name/word).
Your account has a default callsign (which is shown on your summary pages) but every individual activation and chase must have the field “my callsign used” filled.

Take a look at the SOTA database’s View Results → My Results → My Statistics option. There, among a whole load of other stuff, you will see it lists all the callsigns you’ve used for activating and chasing (assuming you’ve done the right thing and used only one account, of course)…
Ok, i understand,
many thanks to all,
