Listen 3985kHz to help badly affected Ahrtal people

The Ahrtalradio, an aid to help in the Ahrtal, which has been so badly affected by the flood disaster, will bring a HitpAHRade of 860 songs from December 27th to 31st, 2021, following the 86 km long course of the Ahr.

And even better: For us DXers, this program will be broadcast on 3985 kHz in the 75 meter band! And to support the region there will be a printed QSL card for a small donation. So put a few coins in your piggy bank.

Here are the details
Radio Ahrtal will broadcast from December 27th. until December 31, 2021 the TOP860 HitpAHRade from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. CET, e.g. on 3985 kHz. The Ahr is 86 km long, so that there are 860 music tracks - starting at place 860 at the source of the Ahr in Blankenheim. There will be exactly 86 QSL cards for this shipment.

And this is how you get the coveted QSL cards from Ahrtal Radio on 3985 kHz:

The 86 QSLs are limited, so there is a sophisticated point system.
Each QSL has a sequential number that corresponds to its placement (QSL # 1 with the most points, QSL # 86 with the lowest points)

Valid reception channels are 3985 kHz shortwave, as well as one of the 5 VHF frequencies: 107.9 MHz, 107.7 MHz, 97.1 MHz, 95.6 MHz or 94.2 MHz. Webstream is excluded.

The reporting time is from December 27th to December 31st from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. (exception: December 31, 2021 to 8 p.m.) CET.
One point is awarded for every half hour of listening time documented by a report. (Maximum 132 points)
Broadcasts by the Ahr Valley radio outside of the times for test purposes will not be confirmed.

We would like to collect donations for the Ahr valley. The PayPal address info@shortwaveservice.com is available for this.
For every € 5 donation you get 3 points (maximum infinite smile points)

For (verifiable) reception with your own recipient, the previous points are multiplied by 1.5
For reception via WebSDR, the previous points are multiplied by 0.5

Lovingly designed reception reports with feedback on the program receive a bonus. All previous points multiplied by a factor of 1.5.
Disgusted copy-paste receipt reports with “Male Talk - Music” are multiplied by a factor of 0 and are eliminated immediately. This also applies to any form of bungling.

The receipt reports must be received by 09.01.2022 midnight. The evaluation then takes place.
If there is a tie, the lot decides.
The judges’ decision is final. There is no entitlement to a QSL card. Donations are non-refundable.

Happy listening to everyone and happy holidays.

Thanks for the hint, Chris!
Radio Ahrtal is S9 here with some QSB on my endfed dipole. And the music isn’t that bad, alas limited to 5kHz Bandwidth
