Does anyone have any experience with recently purchased Lidl NiMH AA batteries? The threads I found on the Reflector are pretty old. This week the new Lidl around the corner has a pack of four for$2.50.

Never used this brand, but the NiMH AA cells from Ikea are good and similar in price. Work OK for something like an MTR3B. For five bucks I suggest you buy two packs and try them out. Report back here and let us know. =)
I mostly stick with small 3s LiPo packs (450mAh to 800mAh) for my MTR, but if these AA cells work then go for it. Thay could come in useful for other gear that needs AA cells. You can never have too many batteries!
