Activation 9.October 2009.
Called on VHF and talked to LA1TPA/m Mads he told me that he also would turn up at the summit. Nice that Aage took his VHF with him to work in Porsgrunn. I also had a chat with him. So may be we all go on a summit tomorrow.
Log to day:
12 QSO on 7MHz cw with DL, G, I, HB9, OE, OK,S5 AND 9A
2 QSO on 144MHz FM with LA
Not so warm in the woods any more . To day +3 on top but en rout the ground was frozen in places that sun has not reached.
Strange that when calling cq on 10.120 for 17min gives 1.qso.
4 qso on 7MHz CW with D, G and GW.
S2S qso with G3NYY/P in G/CE-001 and GW3TJE/P in GW/SW-026
1 QSO on 10MHz CW with HB9
1 QSO on 14MHz CW with YU
1 QSO on 145MHz FM with LA
Possible to get LA/TM-049 in the “50 Most Popular Summits” list?
When comes the first snow? I believe soon.
Hpe cu all again sn. PSE lsn on 10.120 for LA1KHA/P

Hello Kjell,
Thanks for S2S contact today.
I read with interest your previous comments about lack of answers to CQ SOTA calls on 10Mhz.
I started on 10Mhz today but 10 mins of calling CQ SOTA resulted in no contacts.
I made one CQ on 7.032Mhz and was then busy with calls for 22 mins.
Sent ''QSY to 30m ‘’ on 7Mhz before closing which resulted in 2 contacts on 10Mhz but no spot.
Was pleased to get a QSO on 10Mhz as none recorded before from this summit.

I agree with you about the low SOTA activity on 10.1 MHz. I called CQ SOTA for 15 minutes today on 10.118 MHz from G/WB-021 but got no replies. However, I worked 52 stations on 7 MHz CW (including Aage, LA1ENA)! I was pleased to work 3 non-SOTA stations on 10.1 MHz, because there were none recorded before on 10.1 MHz from this summit!
tnx for all the fb rprts and qso´s dr Kjell.
In fact 7032 is the qrg on which my rx stands when I am at home.
The qrg´s between 10.118-10.120 are often occupied,
it´s sometimes difficult to find a qrp-station.
But I will listen for you to get the “TM49-award” someday

Still I prfefere 10.120MHz CW , some years ago I used 10.106MHz from a rockmite 250mW tranciever in my car and had a lot of qso but also some complaints so I orderd new xtals. ( DC rx is not good on crowded dx frq…)
Hope to cu agn on any band.

To day I had my Icom IC703 with me. Planed to do some 15,17 and 160meter activity. But ended up on SSB and with a whooping 10W.
