Interested in what you use as a protective case for the Elecraft KX2
SideKX panels and cover and a small padded camera type bag (room for KX2, mic, power lead & in-ear buds).
Lowepro “Viewpoint CS 40” is the perfect lightweight snug fitting case.

I agree. Since I got my KX2 two years ago I’ve carried it in this bag on every SOTA activation. There’s room also for my Palm Nano paddles, KX2PD paddles [as backup], LiPo power cable, earphones and Velcro thigh strap/plate for paddles
SideKX panels and cover, then depending on the intended configuration either an OR Nalgene bottle case or a Tacticool water bottle case that holds radio, antenna, battery, external speaker, mic, power cable, earbuds.
It weighs just under 3 lbs and does well.

I use a Pelican 1120. It is a hard-case that offers good protection & is water-tight. It will hold a limited number of small extra bits, such as a small key & some connectors.

Hello
I can highly recommend the Lowe pro CS 80 bag. The KX 2 is well protected. It has enough space for everything. It is tidy…
