I will try to chase him.
Success! Congrats Carey!!!
Wow! That’s a lotta brass pounding! Any brass left on that key?
Good work. I consider myself a CW man, but my percentage is sure not that high.

Here he is again!
KX0R,
VFB Geo!!
I didn’t make it into your first 4 Q’s on the summit, but I’m glad to be early in your second set of 100K CW Q’s.

Crazy…
Now I can see where I stand…
I always thought I had already done a lot… but it’s only almost a fifth.
Great performance!

That is an absolutely mind-blowing feat. I can’t imagine counting to 100k, much less having that many CW QSOs.
Thanks to all of you!
This was a surprise to me - I really don’t pay much attention to most of these numbers.
I started operating SOTA in 2013. The last several years, most of my SOTA contacts have been made from summits using a KX2 transceiver, usually at 10W, an end-fed 65 foot wire, and a homebrew manual tuner. The same Palm Mini paddles have been used for almost all my activations!
I put a priority on S2S contacts, with many activations of accessible local summits. Most of my chaser points are from activations with S2S contacts. Most of these require hikes with significant vertical gains, and I almost never activate drive-up summits.

It’s also interesting to see who is number #1 in the world for S2S contacts. But perhaps we should start another topic for that story…
That’s fantastic! Well done George and always a pleasure to record you in my log, including many S2S qso’s.

Indeed! One of my goals on any activation is to get an S2S with KX0R. Thanks for all the S2S!!!
Well done, George. You are listed as my most-frequently chased activator, with quite a few of those chases being s2s contacts. While conditions have not been optimal lately, I’m sure we will log many more s2s and CW QSOs between Northeast USA and Colorado.
Stay well & 73!
Mike, WB2FUV
Looks like you are my most chased activator too!
Most of these are S2S… except for the two yesterday. I had to chase you when you broke 100K CW QSOs!
Geo, you are an incredible operator, I have a lot of respect for you.
I hope that we will continue to have many more S2S.
Éric, VA2EO
Geo, You have been and are an inspiration to me, and all of us. Thank you for your guiding light!
Woody, K1LB
Huzzah! Monumental number George. Of course, in my log many many times. When I see you spotted on 17m, it’s money in the bank! Keep on truckin!
